WILLIAM
L. WONG
EDUCATION
Mr. Wong graduated from the University of Hawaii with a degree in Finance
with emphasis in Business Economics and attended the UH Graduate School of
Business. He completed the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant’s
National Tax Education Program at the University of Illinois and the National
Association of Certified Valuation Analysts’ Program on Business Valuation and
Litigation Support in New Orleans. He has also completed the AICPA’s rigid
examination requirements in becoming a Personal Financial Specialist and
financial planner. EXPERIENCE
Mr.
Wong has held positions as a Credit and Financial Analyst with Central
Pacific Bank, an Accountant at Ernst and Ernst (Ernst & Young), a
Business Manager at Hilo Medical Group, and a Lecturer at the
University of Hawaii at Hilo, West Hawaii Campus. He has been a CPA
since 1974, and is also a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS),
Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), business valuation analyst,
real estate developer and Certifying Acceptance Agent (CAA).

AREAS
William L. Wong, CPA, PFS, was honored and named the National winner
of the U. S. Small Business Administration’s Accountant Advocate of
the Year for 1999. He has served as the Taxation Chair of the
Governor’s Task Force on Regulatory Relief and as a member of the
Taxation Working Group of the Economic Revitalization Task Force for
the State of Hawaii. His strong advocacy for the small business
sector in Hawaii has led to exposing and effecting changes to
relieve regulatory burdens on small businesses. He has carried his
message about small businesses to County, State, and National
audiences. He is currently President of William L. Wong
CPA & Associates, Inc., President of WLW Development Methods, Inc.,
President of Hawaii Employee Leasing Professionals LLC, President of
Human Resources Administration of Hawaii, Inc., and Managing Member
of Investment Dynamics Consulting Group LLC. |
