 CPAsites
was founded in 1997 by a 15 year CPA veteran when the
internet was still young and only the larger CPA firms
around the country were venturing onto the world wide
web. We pioneered the idea of accumulating
pre-packaged content (newsletters, calculators, tax form
links, etc) to make it easy for local and regional
accounting firms to develop a website that was not only
a sales brochure for their firm, but actually a useful
resource
for their clients and even their own
employees.
From the beginning, CPAsites focused
on packaging that content into highly professional
website designs because we knew that websites would
eventually go from novelty status to being a firm's
primary advertising vehicle and its lobby to the entire
world.
Over the years, as competitors borrowed
our ideas and entered the field with inexpensive
pre-designed templates, we resisted the easy lure of
being able to offer new websites within minutes because
the result usually looked exactly like what they were -
inexpensive pre-designed templates with a firm's name or
logo attached. Today, CPAsites is still 100% owned
and managed by CPAs and we still focus on designing
custom websites for each of our clients.
